Might as well be a story meant for Fariy Tales! A couple of weird individuals, with some weird ideas, doing some weird things!

It all began in the early hours of September 13, 2020, on a small farm, east of North Branch, MN.  In the midst of a pandemic, James was 250 miles from home, helping a friend from college with a luau style pig roast.  Naketa was out and about, hoping to find some music to feed her soul, and dance the night away.

 

At the time, social distancing was a thing, no events were happening, and life had become something out of a Sci-Fi novel.  Covid-19 was running rampant across the planet.  Thousands of people were quarantined, businesses were closing, streets were empty, and there was no apparent end in sight.  Hoping to feel some sense of normality again, this pig roast seemed like a good place to start.

In the wee hours, of day three of festivities, magic happened.  A sweet and shy Naketa was looking for facilities to get changed, when she stumbled acrossJames, still sleepy eyed from the long days prior.  After a short

time, and some small talk, we both knew our lives were about to change forever.  

​

Now, Naketa had three fur babies at home to attend to, and James had to go back home to Fargo the next day.  We were going to have to go our separate ways.  But something was happening, something special...

​

With James' birthday only 2 weeks away, he knew he wanted to spend it with her. After hundreds of texts, and hours of conversation, it was decided.  He was going back to Minneapolis to spend it with Naketa.

​

It was then we both knew, this was it!  W31rd Squared was born. Just a couple of weirdos doing some weird things!

​

Now, if you don't believe in love at first sight, we're living proof that it does exist.  The moment our eyes met, we just knew!  And the rest is for the history books!
